Colby Bowles
He may look young, but Colby is one of the most experienced cowhands around.
His Story
Taken in by his late grandpa Ed, he was taught from a very young age how to be the perfect ranch hand and horseman. Colby has learned all the tips and tricks of ranching from working all over the state and spending several months on an isolated ranch in Nevada.
When Colby isn’t taking care of the horses and cattle, he’s off riding bucking horses and competing in ranch rodeos. If you couldn’t tell from his sense of clothing style, Colby is a hot commodity in town because of his ranching talents, but we’re lucky enough to keep him working for us.
During the hardest times in the middle of winter, you’ll find Colby with the momma cow herd, helping the mommas have their babies and taking care of any sick calves. This is no easy task, as Colby has spent many entire nights from 6 PM to 8 AM out with the gals to make sure they are well taken care of.

Colby fits in with Double B because he shares the same values as we do. Our priority is our cows and their well-being. He cares about his work and the animals, which is what makes him the great cowhand he is.
